Lodestar

Lodestar is a puzzle game set in a cyberpunk wasteland where you play as an AI unit tasked with guiding a young child to safety. The child sees the world through a headset which you can control, and while you might not be able to directly control where the child goes, you can toggle what he does or does not see in the world and use that to influence his movements to lead him to shelter.

Controls + Tips: 

• Click on the child to get him to advance. He will advance how he wants to in a consistent manner based on his surroundings. He is prone to getting overwhelmed and "trapped" in certain situations. Your goal is the red tile that leads him to safety. 
• If the child gets "trapped," or if you'd like to just reattempt the level, click the restart button in the top right corner. 
• Things in the world that can be hidden or unhidden from his view will show by the cursor changing to display an open or closed eye icon when they're hovered over. 
• When the object is capable of being hidden, a closed eye will be displayed when the cursor hovers over it. Click to hide. 
• When the object is capable of being unhidden, an open eye will be displayed when the cursor hovers over it. Click to unhide. 
• The child will react to different objects in different ways depending on whether they're hidden or not. It's up to you to observe his behaviors and use them to your advantage. 
• There are beings in the world that seek to harm the child and prevent him from reaching safety— drones that shoot him on sight and stalkers that deal a fatal blow when they can reach him. Stay out of their way. 
• Press escape to go back to the menu or leave the game.
